What stays yours

Ownership is the structure, not a slogan.

  • 04Practice data
Never a percentage of collections. A Business Associate Agreement is executed before any access to protected health information. Activity commitments are published in writing.

From decision to go-live

Four workstreams. One launch plan.

Use the payer wait on purpose

Credentialing typically runs 90–150 days and is controlled by the payer. Grasshopper uses that window to build everything the payer is not building.

  1. 01Foundation

    Make the practice administratively real.

Grasshopper coordinates entity, EIN, and NPI-2 steps while your attorney and CPA provide the professional advice.

    • Entity coordination
    • Tax ID and NPI-2
    • Ownership setup inputs
  2. 02Credentialing

Put every selected payer in motion.

CAQH and panel applications are prepared, submitted, followed up, and logged through determination.

    • Up to 5 payer panels
    • NC Medicaid enrollment included
    • Weekly logged follow-up
  3. 03Systems

Build the practice people can actually use.

The EHR, intake, telehealth, reminders, fee schedules, and directory foundations are configured before opening.

    • EHR and telehealth
    • Intake and consent workflows
    • Fees, superbills, and profiles
  4. 04Go-live

Open with the operating basics verified.

Systems pass the go-live checklist, and the first claim for each payer is tracked through payment.

    • Go-live checklist
    • First-claim verification
    • Optional Complete handoff

A distinct operating model

You do not need another middle layer.

Platforms provide a place to work. Coaches provide guidance. Credentialing and billing vendors handle a slice. Grasshopper is the practice-operations team: it coordinates the launch and can carry the recurring administrative work after go-live.

Advice
A coach helps you decide what to do. Grasshopper executes defined administrative work.
One workstream
A standalone vendor solves one function. Grasshopper coordinates the handoffs among launch, front office, and revenue cycle.

Service models and contracts vary. Compare the actual ownership, pricing, scope, and exit terms you are offered.

Operational proof

The proof is the work we agree to do.

Grasshopper is new. The homepage does not borrow authority from an invented history, a logo wall, or outcomes the company has not yet earned. It makes the operating standard inspectable instead.

  • SpecificEvery commitment names the activity and the timing.
  • VisibleLogs, checklists, and status notes make the work reviewable.
  • BoundedAll service commitments are activity commitments. Grasshopper does not guarantee revenue, reimbursement, panel acceptance, rankings, client volume, or payer-controlled timelines.

Launch once. Decide what stays delegated.

Practice Launch ends in a usable, owned practice—not a dependency. At go-live, use the operating system yourself or continue with Grasshopper carrying the recurring work.

Why Grasshopper exists

Ownership should not require a second career in administration.

Grasshopper was created for the moment a therapist is clinically ready to go independent but does not want to become the credentialing desk, systems implementer, front office, and billing department.

The company is new, so the authority stays inspectable: published terms, defined work, explicit boundaries, and an operating standard you can read before you sign.

Questions careful owners ask

Plain answers before the call.

The clinical work stays yours. The business terms stay visible. The limits stay explicit.

No. Grasshopper executes administrative and practice-operations work. It does not provide clinical services, supervision, clinician staffing, or legal, tax, or accounting advice.

Typically 90–150 days, controlled by the payer. Grasshopper commits to submitting all selected panel applications within 14 days of complete inputs and following up weekly, but cannot guarantee acceptance or payer timing.

Your practice does. Grasshopper does not own the clinical relationship or the practice assets, and offboarding is intended to be clean under the signed terms.

Never. Practice Launch is a flat project fee, and ongoing services use flat, published monthly bands based on completed session volume.

Use Complete for full front-office and revenue-cycle operations, or Essentials when billing stays in-house. Grasshopper plans the transition around a running practice rather than treating it like a new launch.
